Saturday, September 30

• The adventure begins!
• Overnight stay in South Bend, IN

Sunday, October 1 (B,D)

• Pass through the rolling hills and forests of Pennsylvania
• Arrive in Gettysburg
• Dinner tonight is at Dobbin House
• Overnight in Gettysburg the next two (2) nights

Monday, October 2 (B,L)

• Tour the Gettysburg Battlefield with a National Parks Service guide
• Stop by the Gettysburg Visitor's Center and Cyclorama
• Lunch at General Pickett's Buffet
• The rest of the day is free to explore the town on your own

Tuesday, October 3 (B,D)

• Detour through Shenandoah National Park to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
• Continue to Williamsburg, VA, home for the next two nights
• Enjoy a group dinner tonight

Wednesday, October 4 (B)

• Visit Jamestown this morning
• Spend the remainder of the day in Williamsburg

Thursday, October 5 (B)

• Leave Williamsburg for the National Museum of the Marine Corps near Quantico
• Arrive in D.C. - Stop at the Marine Corps Memorial
• Head to Arlington National Cemetery and experience the Changing of the Guard Ceremony
• Check into hotel - dinner on your own
• Night time tour of the Jefferson, FDR, MLK Jr., Korean War and Lincoln Memorials

Friday, October 6 (B,D)

• Walking tour of the White House neighborhood
• Expertly guided tour of the U.S. Capitol
• Visit the Petersen House
• Dinner at Gordon Biersch
• Attend an evening performance at Ford's Theatre

Saturday, October 7 (B)

• Return to D.C. for a daytime visit to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool, and World War II Memorial
• Free time to explore the Holocaust Museum and Smithsonian museums
• Make a stop at the National Archives Museum (if available)

Sunday, October 8 (B,D)

• Tour Mount Vernon, with a stop at the Distillery and Gristmill
• Take the afternoon to grab some lunch and explore Old Town Alexandria on your own
• Enjoy the last evening in D.C. aboard the Dandy on a twilight dinner and dance cruise on the Potomac River

Monday, October 9 (B)

• Begin the journey home through West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, with an overnight stay in Fort Wayne, IN

Tuesday, October 10 (B)

• Arrive home
