Nor'eastern Charm Meets Old-World French Culture

-The adventure begins!
-Overnight stay in South Bend, IN.
-Meet up with fellow passengers from Edgerton Travel and begin traveling East with stops for rest and lunch.
-Continue to New York and Niagara Falls, our stop for tonight. Our hotel is the closest to the Falls and our tour "kick-off" supper will be at a nearby restaurant.
-Following breakfast, continue your drive to Boston. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.
-Drive to the Museum of Science to board your WWII vintage "Duck." Your conDUCKtor will first drive on Boston's streets and then right into the Charles River!
-Free time at Quincy Market for lunch and shopping.
-Take a walking tour of the North End and part of the Freedom Trail.
-Board the "Norwegian Dawn" and sail at 5:00 pm.
-Portland, Maine: Walk through this fishing town, take a tour to photograph a lighthouse, or shop. Sail at 3:00 pm.
-Halifax, Nova Scotia: Several optional shore excursions available. Try to see Peggy's Cove or wander on your own. From the harbor boardwalk to the Maritime Museum, you won't be short of things to do. Sail at 6:00 pm.
-A day at sea: Explore the ship or enjoy the daily activities - have a spa treatment, go to a movie or visit the casino.
-Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island: Known as the birthplace of Canada, this is home to "Anne of Green Gables", quaint villages and pubs. Sail at 5:00 pm.
-Port of Gaspésie: The town is called Perce, and offers numerous shops, art galleries and handicraft boutiques. Enjoy lunch and photo opportunities. Sail at 4:00 pm.
-La Baie on the Saguenay River: Where the St. Lawrence and Saguenay Rivers meet with a decidedly French atmosphere and Old World touch. Chiseled in the Laurentian Mountains, this was the site of the first French fur trading post established in the 1600s. Sail at 7:00 pm.
-Quebec City: Your cruise is over, but the sightseeing is not. Your motorcoach will take you on a tour of this charming French city. You'll see the "Place d'Armes," Parliament and the Plains of Abraham.
-Lunch on your own, followed by a visit to the Ste. Anne-de-Beaupre Basilica and tour of the Island of Orleans.
-Following dinner, stroll the boardwalk, which comes alive with street performers, entertainment and artists.
-Check out of the hotel and begin your drive along the Saint Lawrence River to Gananoque and the Gananoque Inn, your home for the next two (2) nights. You are now in the Thousand Islands Region of Ontario.
-Board a boat for a cruise through the Region. A stop will be made at Boldt Castle.
-Check out of the hotel this morning and make your way back to Indiana.
-Overnight in South Bend, IN.
-We journey to our Iowa departure cities with lots of new photos and great memories. Welcome home.
