Roast Chicken


  1. 1 (4-5 pound) whole chicken
  2. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  3. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  4. 1 teaspoon paprika
  5. 1 teaspoon ground sage
  6. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  1. Mix your spices in a bowl: onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground sage, black pepper, and salt. Rinse off your whole chicken, rub olive oil on it, and then rub all of the spices on the chicken. Place the chicken in the roaster with the breast side up. Then add enough water to just cover the bottom of the roaster. Now roast your chicken at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
